Whirlschool 2024

In the organizer's words:

Whirlschool - Tanz macht Schule, that's over 100 pupils dancing, slipping into different characters, improvising, surpassing themselves and having fun! Bremen's 6th grade classes of all ages take part in the project. Over the course of four months, the students learn dance and theater techniques, develop a new body awareness and unleash their creative potential.
This year, the motto of Whirlschool 2024 is EXCHANGE. Classes have already interacted artistically with each other during the rehearsal process and shared their dance experiences.
Together with a choreographer, they will create a short dance piece and present it on the big stage at the Schlachthof cultural center.
