It includes well-known Viennese melodies, duets and songs such as "G'schichten aus dem Wiener Wald", "Andachtsjodler", "Wiener Fiakerlied", "Es wird scho glei dumpa", but also titles such as "Ave Maria", "Oh du Fröhliche", "Eine kleine Nachtmusik", the "Wolga-Lied", "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht". There will also be excerpts from the well-known operetta "Wiener Blut" by Johann Strauss, as well as other pieces by famous operetta composers.
They will be accompanied by the "METROPOLITAN CHAMBER ORCHESTRA". This is a selection of the best musicians from the large orchestra "METROPOLITAN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA". The zither, now rarely heard, played by the internationally renowned Ursula Meistner, is also an exclusive part of our program. A sixth of the best ballet dancers from the National Theater Prague under the direction of Daniela Pok will perform the most beautiful dance scenes from "Swan Lake", "Hansel and Gretel" and "The Tales of Hoffmann", among others. Ernst Dollwetzel will lead the concerts in an entertaining manner and will also read Christmas stories during the program.
With their successful blend of virtuoso vocal artistry, graceful ballet and a talent for humorous entertainment, the artistic ensemble succeeds effortlessly in eliciting ovations.
