Wildes Holz "25 Jahre auf dem Holzweg"

They have been together for a quarter of a century, have played over 2,000 concerts, released 12 CDs and sold over 50,000 copies: Wildes Holz are an exceptional phenomenon in the German music scene. Because they have achieved all this with, well, unconventional instrumentation: guitar, double bass - and the common recorder. Yes, that's right, the little torture instrument, the tinnitus simulator, which we've probably all blown into at some point, not always to the absolute delight of the audience. Who would have thought that you could actually make music with it? Tobias Reisige proves it impressively, it's not for nothing that he is now known as the "king of the recorder" (WAZ).And Wildes Holz doesn't care about genre boundaries. Rock, pop, jazz, classical, electronic - the more impossible a realization on their wooden instruments seems, the more enthusiastically they prove the opposite! In doing so, they create a completely new genre: instrumental wood rock.

To celebrate their anniversary, Wildes Holz present their new program
"25 years on the wooden path". From their beginnings as street musicians to their first CDs and their current hits, they review the highlights of their creative phases. They also talk about their experiences on and off the stage, about bizarre encounters, funny anecdotes and moving moments. With a lot of humor, charm and enthusiasm, they take the audience on their very special journey through the world of music. It quickly becomes clear that this journey is far from over, because their fun in bringing together impossible things will certainly last for the next 25 years!
