William The Conqueror's fourth album "Excuse Me While I Vanish" (2023) shows the indie rock trio firing on all cylinders as frontman Ruarri Joseph walks the fine line between creativity and madness.

Produced by the band in a playground of vintage gear and mixed by Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender, Kasabian), the album's ten tracks combine earworm melodies with haunting, imposing, soaring rock shapes underscored by chorus hooks that are at once nuanced and anthemic.

Joseph's captivating, half-spoken vocals and swamp-blues-Seattle-scuzz guitars are propelled by the rhythm section of Naomi Holmes (bass) and Harry Harding (drums). "Excuse Me While I Vanish" delivers an effortlessly winning blend of melody and ensemble dynamics, William The Conqueror's most accomplished and undeniable album to date.

William The Conqueror's live performances have evoked enthusiastic comparisons to Kings of Leon, Nirvana, Buffalo Tom and The Marshall Tucker Band. In December 2024, the indie rock band will be touring Germany, stopping off in Cologne, Berlin and Munich.
