The Tübingen Student Philharmonic Orchestra is one of two symphony orchestras at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and has been in existence since 1967. It offers music-loving students and professionals the opportunity to develop a demanding symphonic program during intensive rehearsal phases. In addition to the musical demands, the focus is always on the joy of playing and expression.

The musical work focuses on symphonic works and solo concertos from all eras, whereby the orchestra aims to give young soloists in particular the opportunity to present themselves to the public.

• Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 5 in E minor op. 64
• Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 2 in G major op. 44 with soloist Lambis Vassiliadis
• Lars Straehler-Pohl: We choose to go to the moon (world premiere)
