This year, the trendy Together Kiel winter market at the boat harbor will be added to the Kiel Christmas markets. Fresh, young and creative. By people from Kiel with a passion for Kiel. In addition to food and drink from Kiel restaurateurs, there will also be DJ music, local start-up culture, stylishly staged light installations and much more.

Gastronomy, crafts & cabaret

The offer will be limited exclusively to local and regional businesses, in line with the motto "Together Kiel". In addition to classics such as flamed salmon, good old (vegan) bratwurst or roasted almonds, you will also find plenty of culinary (including North German) specialties - with a large focus on vegan and vegetarian options.

In the evenings, you can also experience live cabaret such as juggling or fire-breathers. During the day, locally renowned singer/songwriters provide the background music.

Illuminated boat harbor basin

The stylishly staged boat harbor basin is an absolute eye-catcher and can be seen from afar. Inspired by the natural phenomenon of bioluminescence, the water surface is illuminated in color. In addition, impressive light shows can be projected onto the surface of the water and into the evening sky in the style of the Northern Lights.

Pre-Christmas atmosphere in the party tent

Après-Sea - Kiel's first Christmas tent (approx. 200 sqm) with music, DJs, built-in good mood and party guarantee: The festively decorated maritime tent forms the core of the market and offers a cozy meeting place for a pre-Christmas get-together or simply for classic punching.

The perfect location for the weekly after-work or the weekend evening before.

The outdoor area

A winter-decorated entrance gate on the Kleine Kiel Canal side forms the entrance area and invites you to browse the market. Visitors can expect a small but lovingly designed winter market with stylish, contemporary decorations.

Decorative elements:

• Wood chips on the entire upper area of the boat harbor
• Small wooden stalls with food and drinks for sale
• Standing tables and seating (partly covered) on the boat harbor side with a view of the illuminated boat harbor basin
• Fairy lights (starry) sky
• Various maritime stylistic devices (anchors, fishing nets, lifebuoys)
