A MESS, the rock n' riot sensation from Denmark, brings a breath of fresh air and power to the music world.
Armed with an electric guitar, Danish FLINTA* artist A MESS plays songs about #metoo, gender perception and sex. Visions Magazine calls it "feminist power pop driven by raw guitar riffs". Imagine if "The Breeders" bred "Snail Mail" and left the parenting to "Pussy Riot".
Their new EP'NO MAN' will be released in January 2024. The debut EP'WOMAN' received 5-star reviews and media attention (Visions, Der Spiegel, Good Because Danish and more).
'NO MAN' follows on from the acclaimed debut. With the single'Happy' and'Gender Traitor', A MESS was in rotation on Danish and German radio stations.
After impressive live performances at festivals such as SPOT Festival (DK), Smukfest (DK) and Nordklang Festival (CH) in recent years, several European tours will follow in 2024.
Dorte Hartmann is the woman behind A MESS, an energetic duo: vocals/guitar and drums with Per Gerhard Jørgensen. (Source: band info)
Between dreamy indie and fast punk beats: that's DIE GREISLIGEN UHUS. The five heads from Munich couldn't be more different musically, but it's precisely this mixture that creates a rollercoaster of emotions live. The interplay of emo interludes, melodic guitar riffs and slappy basslines, noise-like soundwalls and energetic drum beats creates a sound with a unique character. The Uhus create a varied show that encourages you to feel and dance along. The young band is currently working on their debut EP, which will be released in mid-2024. (Source: band info)
