Everything is best left as it is, Leo thinks. Father Tobi, the two of them as a dream team and their house full of stuffed-but-somehow-alive animals. The two of them have plenty of time for games, nonsense and animal documentaries. Until Tobi suddenly changes, sings schmaltzy songs and has "dates". With Rudi, a soft rock singer who used to be somewhat famous. Rudi is suddenly allowed to join in the eating, talking and playing, because Tobi is madly in love with him - and overwhelmed. And although they are now three, Leo feels much lonelier. And when he has to move in with Rudi, Leo is fed up. Who decides what changes here? During secret visits to the old house, Leo meets someone very special. A child who blinks, has a huge heart and helps Leo to deal with the changes.

Fayer Koch writes plays, prose and poetry and lives in Leipzig. In WIR ZWEI, Fayer Koch tells of the longing to be seen and loved - from the perspective of both child and parent. The touching and funny story was awarded the 2nd Baden-Württemberg Youth Theater Prize 2022 and was praised as a "clever, surprising and charming text" that "offers an outstanding template for sophisticated children's and youth theater".
