Stories from refugees aged between 6 and 70 about the challenges, surprises and joys of arriving in a new country and a new culture. The people have one thing in common: they remain true to themselves and strive for a positive turn in their lives. They are not helpless and deal with the challenges in a creative and humorous way. It is hard to decide whether to laugh or cry when reading these stories. One thing is clear: they touch us and show us that people are people. An evening full of emotions, in which Meliksah Senyürek and Saher Khanaqa-Kükelhahn present the stories.
