Crime, thriller and romance, comedy, fantasy or science fiction - genre literature, often reviled and even more often successful, opens up narrative freedom and offers beginners a safe form and many aids in building the plot. But to fulfill the promise that entertainment literature so whimsically makes, you need knowledge of the genre, narrative craft and the determination not to bore. Mario Giordano reveals how to do this in this two-part seminar: on the first weekend, he gives an insight into his workshop and brings along fun exercises. The second date is dedicated solely to the participants' texts. Both parts can be booked together or separately. IMPORTANT: Bring a surprise egg with you. Seriously meant.

MARIO GIORDANO is one of the most versatile German authors, his "Tante Poldi" novels have been on the bestseller lists in the USA and elsewhere. He has written fairy tale films and wrote the novel and screenplay for "The Experiment". Following his family saga "The Women of the Carbonaro Family" (Goldmann), he is currently working on a love story.
