On Thursday, goods are sold at ten stalls and on Saturday at 18 stalls on Alaunplatz in Neustadt. On Thursdays, the market will be international: while Indian, Argentinian and Portuguese dishes will be on offer at snack stands, Austrian cheese specialties as well as homemade salads and cream cheese preparations will be available at the stand next door. The Erzgebirgssennerei dairy from Halsbrücke near Freiberg will also be offering cheese specialties.

On Saturday, visitors can choose fruit and vegetables from local farmers. The Schneider butcher's shop, which produces its own sausages and delicatessen salads, will also be there. Managing Director Heidrun Thomaschefski: "The origin of our meat is very important to us. We source our pork from the 'Sachsenglück' brand exclusively from Saxony. Every day, we can see which farm the pig grew up on and under what conditions. The beef and poultry meat comes from controlled German farms. We source our game from Saxon hunters."

Coffee at the weekly market comes from the Le Tub coffee roasting plant: green coffee is roasted in the company's own roasting plant in Radebeul. The coffee comes from two importers who are actively involved in social and economic activities in the countries where the coffee is grown and are in personal contact with the coffee farmers several times a year.
