Wolf

for everyone aged 14 and over

Kemi has to go to vacation camp in the forest. But he only thinks trees are great as a cupboard. The vacation camp in the forest is full of things that Kemi wants nothing to do with: ticks, vacation supervisors and fake laughter. He only actually gets on quite well with Jörg. But Kemi is increasingly concerned to see how his classmates treat Jörg. Between Xbox-playing deer, a puking cook and far too many mosquitoes, Kemi has to decide how to position himself towards Jörg.

Saša Stanišić (*1978 in Višegrad, Yugoslavia) is one of the most important contemporary German authors. His novels and stories have won numerous awards. In 2019, he received the German Book Prize for "Herkunft". "Wolf" was published in 2023 and brilliantly addresses mechanisms of exclusion - and the rising anger against them.
