Wortgewand(t) - Der Poetry Slam

In the organizer's words:

The popular "Wortgewand(t)" poetry slam series at the Kulturhaus Schwanen continues. This means "Clear the stage!" for poets. The evening will be hosted by poetry slamer and magician Jonas Pan.

Whether humorous short stories, lyrical ballads or dialect texts - anything goes at the poetry slam, as long as the texts are self-written and the performance lasts a maximum of six minutes. Costumes and aids are not permitted.

"The points are not the point; the point is poetry." - True to this motto, the focus is on the joy of words and poetry.

Participation is welcome!
Whether young or old, professional or beginner - everyone can take part in the poetry slam at Schwanen! Have the courage to share your texts with the audience.
Register at poetryslam@kulturhaus-schwanen.de or spontaneously at the Box Office (one slot drawn by lot).

Price information:

From September 1, 2024, there will be a new price concept at the Kulturhaus Schwanen. You decide for yourself whether you have a small, normal or generous wallet. This means that proof of reduced-price tickets is no longer required. Background: We want to offer all people, no matter how thin or thick their wallet is, low-threshold access to our events and build your solidarity in the community. In this way we help each other - simply - low-threshold and without much fuss.
