After the sold-out concert in April, the Heidelberg indie rock band yara is coming back to Cologne!

yara are still getting to know themselves. They don't really want to know what they're all about. They experiment with NDW borrowings and polka influences, always anchored in energetic indie rock and the feeling that anything is possible right now.

Jakob, Lisa, Gio and Julius found each other somewhat by chance and realized early on that there was something right between them. Together they talk about cigarettes in togetherness, champagne from the ashtray and the search for the big, the immediate. For singer Jakob, there is only the extreme, he likes to throw away the small happiness of everyday life, always in search of the absolute. With his band, he translates this search unpretentiously into easy-to-understand, uncomplicated indie rock, always flirting with pop melodies.

His luggage? The indie-pop trio flora from Cologne

flora are in their early 20s, but would like to be 40. 20 years ago they would have been 20 and perhaps part of the Hamburg School. In any case, the longing is there. They finally formed in 2020. Because school was canceled, they met in the rehearsal room and haven't come out since. The genre revolves around indie pop: distorted guitars to danceable beats
