Raise the skull and crossbones flag, YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS mutiny your peace of mind. This colorful bunch of ruffians and plunderers takes you back to the cruel worlds of the 18th century with 'First Night Back In Port'. When pirates still ruled the seas and the taverns belonged to them. The Swedish YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS brew stormy sea shanties from Irish and Scandinavian folk and a casual punk attitude. No two parties are the same: Their crew numbers 30. At least a dozen of the buccaneers are armed to the teeth with fiddle, banjo and accordion at each of their parties. They are all strong throats with loose mouths, but good hearts when they rail against laws and nations. When the pack of rags and tricorn hats ask to dance, no wooden leg remains straight and no palate dry. With smoky gurgles, they play unique tunes from long-forgotten days - a journey back in time to honest, moving music.
