ZEBULON KONZERT

Zebulon - tradition and improvisation. Music the way stories are told. Old and new, original and strange, intricate and unplugged. On a journey through the countries of Europe and excursions to other continents, Zebulon plays music from the street and from dances and festivals. The uniqueness of different cultures, their melodies and rhythms can be experienced. The inexhaustible wealth of variations, ideas, surprises and moods of traditional 'folk music' comes to light, becomes alive and present. With Hungarian Csardas, Romanian Hora, Yiddish Klezmer or Greek Rembetikos, Irish Jiggs, Italian Tarantellas and South American rhythms. With violin, cello, accordion, guitar, percussion, saxophone, vocals and many an unusual instrument. In the style of the minstrels and musicians, Zebulon is not interested in reproducing the notes faithfully, but in playing with the original - unconventionally and respectfully. Zebulon's joy of playing leads to a shared experience and immersion in foreign worlds. Past and present come together - just like in good stories. The themes are old, but are always told anew.
