ZERBROCHENE VERBINDUNGEN RAVENSBRÜCK

The persecution of lesbians and women* who loved women* under National Socialism has hardly been researched and is still little known. The exhibition "Broken Connections - Ravensbrück" shows the fate of six women from France, Germany, the Netherlands and the USA, most of whom were arrested and deported to the Ravensbrück women's concentration camp. The exhibition was created after extensive research by the Queer Code collective from France, which was founded in 2015. The collective has worked meticulously to collect and bring together research, including work by historians from various countries such as Claudia Schoppmann from Germany and Christine Bard and Laurent Thévenet from France. Isabelle Sentis from the Queer Code collective in Montpellier will be present at the opening.
The exhibition can be visited from

at the Historical Museum.
