The Blackscreen // Skratchwork // Miss Drone

Zombie Sessions is a concert series by musicians for musicians on a non-profit and DIY basis and has been pursuing the goal of creating fair performance opportunities and spaces for known and unknown music outside the mainstream since 2013. Across genres, the focus of the Zombie Sessions is on the harder varieties of rock (punk, hardcore, metal, noise, grunge, stoner, etc., or any sound that cannot be properly categorized as a genre), but jazz, pop and hip-hop, for example, have also been represented.

The Zombie Sessions are not only a matter close to the hearts of the people behind them, but also an attempt to make a contribution to Munich's musical subculture and to connect it with artists from all over Europe, both internally and externally.

The Zombie Sessions are therefore the perfect opportunity for music lovers to experience bands from Munich, Germany and abroad up close. The Zombie Sessions invite you to immerse yourself in the relaxed, informal atmosphere and simply let yourself go at energetic, sweaty and sometimes overflowing concerts. With a low admission price, the Zombie Sessions, which take place at the Glockenbachwerkstatt, Kafe Kult or Sunny Red / Feierwerk, are also accessible to a wide audience.

The Blackscreen (Nuremberg)

The Blackscreen do what they are convinced of. Determined, but without blinkers for genre boundaries, the four indie rockers from Nuremberg have made themselves comfortable between all the chairs.

With four CDs and numerous videos under their belts, The Blackscreen have already toured Poland, the Baltic states and Russia, played in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Riga and Tallinn as well as in Munich, Hamburg and Berlin. At their concerts across Germany, they have shared the stage with DeWolff, Itchy, The Wholls and Mustasch, among others.

The Blackscreen's latest work, Fever, was created in collaboration with Alex Adelhardt and was mostly recorded at Ghost City Recordings.

Now, of course, the new material is to be brought to the stage, where The Blackscreen have always stood for energy, authenticity and refreshing non-conformity. They have earned their reputation as an outstanding live band with over 100 concerts in six countries.

Skratchwork (Munich)

It feels like the cold is subsiding while spring slowly begins outside. Skratchwork's songs deal with the forlornness of Generation Y and celebrate failure with a bang. Based on classic indie rock, the sound aesthetics of the 60s and Britpop, broken up by changing rhythms and original melodic compositions, create a sound that is both nostalgic and modern.

Miss Drone (Regensburg)

Miss Drone from Regensburg makes noise pop/ shoegaze/ indie rock. Miss Drone's sound is defined by echoing guitars, a growling bass, multi-faceted rhythms and exciting harmonies. The group has a varied set in store.
