Zora Asse - (book)bodies that (printed) matter (Performance)

In the organizer's words:

"What is book space, how can we grasp and design it?" asks the artist in the tradition of Walter Gropius and develops various book objects with which she interacts performatively. The medium of the book is viewed as a (creative rehearsal) stage and placed in the relationship between (book) space and (book) body. Zora Asse critically examines economic, ecological or aesthetic standardizations of bodies: What can physical bodies and book bodies look like that resist standardizations and attributions? This has resulted in resistant text and book objects that take up space within the art library and in this context call for a debate between space - book - body.
