Zum Tag des Kurzfilms 2024: ifs und KHM präsentieren Kurzfilme ihrer Studierenden

For the twelfth time, the KHM is taking part in the nationwide Short Film Day and, together with the ifs internationale filmschule köln and the Cologne Short Film Festival (KFFK), is presenting selected current short films by its students. The directors and teams of the films will be present.

On December 21 - the shortest day of the year - short film has been celebrated throughout Germany in all its diversity, creativity and joy of experimentation since 2012. Initiated by the AG Kurzfilm, the German Short Film Association, short films are shown on cinema screens and television programs, galleries and clubs, building facades and living rooms, public spaces and means of transport on this day. In Cologne, the ifs International Film School Cologne, the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM) and the KFFK/Kurzfilmfestival Köln will once again be taking part in Short Film Day 2024, presenting a selection of current short films by their students in the Filmforum at the Museum Ludwig.After the presentation of the films, Johannes Duncker, director of the KFFK, will lead the audience discussion with the directors present.
