Manni and Chantal are lovers with big dreams - of big money, marriage in Las Vegas, retirement in South America. For this they need money, preferably lots of it and fast. Manni has the brilliant idea: a bank robbery! A piece of cake! At least if you don't get lost on the run, don't forget to fill up with gas and don't use opaque stocking masks.
And so, after a number of incidents and entanglements, various attempts by the would-be crooks ultimately end in a serious relationship crisis. But it's not just bad luck that's hot on their heels, the police are also hot on their heels ...
