Art rental for all & gallery of contemporary local art

In the Artothek, you can borrow one or more of the 2000 art originals from our collection for just a few euros per month
2000 art originals from our collection for your home or office. Simply ask our team for advice on site (directly between Rindermarkt and Viktualienmarkt) and take them home with you!

As one of the six art spaces of the Munich Department of Culture, we also offer professional, contemporary artists from the local art scene the opportunity to present their art to the public every year in solo, group and themed exhibitions in the Bildersaal.

We also regularly host artist talks, performances, guided tours and workshops related to our current exhibitions and collection.
