Adventure in the big city

Big Tipi - the largest Indian tent in the world - was a Dortmund-based attraction at Expo 2000 in Hannover. And is now the biggest family leisure fun in the north of Dortmund (Fredenbaumpark). The tepee itself is only one of many attractions - at least as exciting are the things around it: swings, slides, animals, magic forest, sound modules, wooden stall building area (which especially pleases the fathers), beach area with swimming fun, kettcars, fireplaces, handicraft places,... We regularly spend whole afternoons here and only see our kids when they are hungry or thirsty. The Big Tipi itself, with a height of almost 35 meters, a diameter of about 25 meters and a floor space of over 360 square meters, is a place for climbing (high ropes course), meeting place for many family activities with a wide range of programs.
