The district of Blumenthal is divided into five districts, which offer a home to a wide variety of cultures and all have very reasonable rents. In Rekum, the northernmost district, you will mainly find detached houses and the best opportunities for walks in the countryside. Rekum is best known for the Valentin submarine bunker - a relic from the Second World War, which is now a memorial site that invites visitors to reflect on history. In neighboring Farge, the district is dominated by detached single-family homes with gardens. Pretty thatched houses and farms can also still be found here. Rönnebeck is also quite tranquil. This district is manageable, family-friendly and village-like. The heart of the district, Blumenthal, is a little busier. The most important stores for daily needs are located around the market square. There are also a number of leisure facilities, a shopping center, a mosque and green spaces. The district of Lüssum-Bockhorn lies to the west of the district, nestled in a large wooded area and the meadows and fields on the border between Bremen and Lower Saxony.
