The Burgtheater, which was built in 1934 and is located in an atmospheric setting next to the medieval castle and the Kathrin-Türks-Halle, is an open-air stage right in the center of Dinslaken. The grandstand can hold more than 2,000 visitors and is arranged in a circle around the lower stage area. This not only makes the Burgtheater an exquisite open-air venue in the Lower Rhine region, but also gives every visitor the incredible feeling of sitting in a theater "without a roof".
