The documenta-Halle on Friedrichsplatz in Kassel is a multifunctional exhibition and event building that was built in 1992 according to a design by the architectural firm "Jourdan & Müller (PAS)". Today, the state of Hesse owns the hall, while it is managed by documenta und Museum Fridericianum gGmbH.

The design by Jourdan and Müller won a nationwide architectural competition in 1989 and envisages the building on the Auehang next to the Staatstheater. The hall comprises 1,400 m² of exhibition space, characterized by high rooms and skylights, and offers sleek, modern architecture with glass, steel and concrete. In addition to its use during the documenta, the hall will be used for various events such as congresses, conferences and functions outside of the art exhibition.
