As the largest beer city in the Ruhr region, Dortmund can look back on a long and successful brewing tradition. On the former site of the Hansa brewery in the north of Dortmund, the Dortmunder Actien Brauerei is located today. In addition to DAB beer, various traditional Dortmund brands such as Brinkhoff's and Dortmunder Kronen are brewed and bottled here. Right next to the brewery site, visitors can learn more about the past of beer culture in the brewery museum.
