Cologne is known far beyond the city limits. But what exactly is the Eau de Cologne all about? And why is the fragrance museum called Farina? For the time being, we will only reveal this much: The Italian perfumer Farina created a fragrance in his new hometown of Cologne that first conquered the European courts and then the world. The emperor in Vienna, the kings in Prussia, the king of France, Napoleon, Goethe, Queen Victoria and Sissi - all loved the fragrance. More specialized knowledge is available at the Farina Fragrance Museum.
