Grüntraum Heimfeld

Our GRÜN(T)RAUM is a garden project in the center of Hamburg-Heimfeld. Here we design and animate the center between St. Paulus Church and Friedrich Ebert High School together with Globales Lernen Harburg.

In doing so, we are guided by the principles of permaculture, which strives for the development of sustainable systems. Our dream, which we have been realizing since the beginning of 2020, is a district that is vibrant, thriving and diverse in every respect.

To achieve this, we garden where lawns used to be blown up and ensure that as many plants, animals and people as possible feel at home and interact positively with each other on the spaces made available to us.

Our GREEN(T)SPACE HEIMFELD is supported by the Heidehof Foundation, the NUE Foundation (North German Foundation for Environment and Development), the Heimfeld District Association and the largely voluntary work of our garden group, designers and supporters.
