About the area

Güterbahnhof Bremen - Areal für Kunst und Kultur has been a place of work for independent artists, creative and cultural professionals and a central art and culture location for Bremen's independent scene since 1997. The approximately 36,000 square meter site contains halls and rooms for studios, rehearsal rooms, production studios as well as exhibition and event spaces for contemporary art and culture. Around 300 artists, creative and cultural professionals work here in around 100 workspaces.

Over 200 events take place at the Güterbahnhof every year.
