Karo

In 1983, Ralf, I and a few other crazy people opened the Kafé Karo in Bremerhavener 100. No more Poona corner and burlap on the walls, Kafé Karo was one of the first punk/wave bars in Bremen and the many parties and concerts were legendary.

In 1986, we moved to the former Technocoop premises in Reuterstraße. The music on offer became more varied, although our preference remained clearly with the electric guitar. After a number of self-experiments, we realized that Karo was also a great place to hold parties.
