The former shipyard halls in Lübeck, once used for shipbuilding, are now an important cultural venue. Events such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the ARD election arena and concerts by renowned artists such as Wincent Weiss and Foreigner have already taken place in this historic setting, just 200 meters from the old town. The red-brick halls, which were built between 1870 and 1920, are part of Schleswig-Holstein's oldest industrial area and have been revitalized after around 20 years of vacancy.
