The Kunsthaus Erfurt is a center for young contemporary art in Thuringia. It is a meeting place for art and the public at the interface between art and society. In addition to a continuous cultural program of supra-regional relevance, we provide cultural education on site and develop perspectives and development opportunities for contemporary art in cooperation with a wide range of partners. We support graduates and young artists living here at their production location in finding access to the art market and becoming visible in the art world. In addition to the exhibitions in Galerie + Projektraum and the accompanying program, we support artists specifically in production and self-marketing, support them by publishing catalogs, arranging external exhibitions, grants, scholarships and participation in international art fairs.
