Neue Apotheke

The Neue Apotheke is a place for cultural and social participation in Wedel. Visitors can look forward to a variety of events, such as concerts, workshops, art exhibitions, children's discos and much more. The program is designed both by the initiators and by external forces in order to offer the widest possible variety. The space can also be rented, for example as a co-working space or for your own services. The prices are based on a donation recommendation and depend on the possibilities of the users.

The project is backed by a team of freelance artists and cultural professionals who are currently financing the rent privately. In the long term, however, donations and funding should secure the existence of the cultural venue. The Neue Apotheke e.V. association is also being founded to organize the project and promote cultural development in Wedel.

The Neue Apotheke sees itself as an inclusive space for everyone. Although the building is not yet barrier-free, the initiators are working hard to improve this as quickly as possible. As the space can only be as diverse and multifaceted as the team and visitors are,the project also actively invites people to participate.
