The Orangerie Theater is a free theater house in the southern city of Cologne. As a venue with a special flair thanks to the long history that still surrounds the place, it offers a stage for innovative and experimental concepts. Theater and dance productions by Cologne theater groups are shown here, as well as national and international guest performances, always at the interface of performance, multimedia, dance and theater. Once you get involved, you are sure to experience an extraordinary evening!

Did you know that the theater is located in the premises of a former market garden? The name "Orangerie" was created in reference to the citrus trees that were tended here in the winter.
