Under the motto "Experience the Rhine", the SchifffahrtMuseum presents the Rhine and its shipping under the aspects:Culture, trade and change along the great river.

Many action stations have been developed especially for the SchifffahrtMuseum. At them, visitors can get to know various techniques from shipping and old crafts. At one station, for example, a container ship and a steamship can be digitally steered across the Rhine. Many other exhibits provide insights into everyday life on and along the Rhine.
