The Schnürschuh Theater was founded in 1976 and has had its own venue in Bremen's Neustadt district since 1994. Since then, we have been staging theater for children and young people during the day as ambassadors of tolerance and courage. In the evening program, we present modern in-house productions and a variety of guest performances to a wide audience. Our productions touch audiences with their poetic simplicity and closeness to the audience. They show that it is often the little things that create narrative and dramaturgical depth.

Our theater café invites you to linger and talk to the ensemble before and after the performances.
