A beer garden in an old swimming pool?

The Golden Corner ... this was the popular name for the entertainment district in the north of the city of Cologne.

Riehl had something very special back then: a swimming pool "on land". This meant that Cologne's oldest open-air swimming pool tradition could be maintained there for over 80 years, which unfortunately came to an end in 1986. Today's Rhein-Sommergarten restaurant opened in 1996 and has since been described by many as the most beautiful beer garden on the banks of the Rhine.

A selection of drinks awaits you in the Rhein-Sommergarten beer garden that is impressive: various types of beer, wine and other cold and hot drinks. There is also a gastronomic selection of full meals and small snacks. So there is something for every hunger and thirst, no matter how small or large.
