The Städtische Galerie Haus Seel in Siegen is a special place for art lovers. Originally founded as a home for the works of a female artist, the building unfortunately fell victim to the bombing during the Second World War. But to honor the artist's legacy, the city opened the Galerie am Kornmarkt in the upper town in 1962.

A lot has happened here since then: The gallery offers changing art exhibitions, workshops, readings, concerts and is also an important location for the city library. The architecture of the building is particularly impressive with its skylights, which perfectly showcase the works of art. The close collaboration with the art department at the University of Siegen also makes the gallery special.
