Szene 10 is a stage for the independent scene in Essen, in the middle of the trendy Rüttenscheid district, in the Girardethaus. Since last year, the house has boasted its own professional acting ensemble and is a venue for the arts of the region's independent scene. In addition to the art of acting, Szene 10 also hosts the dance festival "ESSENZIALE" and the "INCLUSIV-FESTIVAL", as well as the theater pedagogy training of the Off-Theater NRW. Concerts of new music take place regularly and Interzone Perceptible set silent films to music live and in their own compositions.
