Theater in der Garage - Schauspiel Erlangen

The garage originally served as a coach house for the margravial palace and later as a fire department garage. In 1975, as part of the student theater movement, the Theater in der Garage was opened there. The garage was extensively modernized in 1989 and is now home to the Erlangen Theatre's studio stage, which impresses with its intimate atmosphere. Attached is a theater café, which is open daily from 5 to 11:30 pm (except Mondays). Seating varies depending on the production and the audience can choose their seats freely.
