The VIEL LÄRM UM NICHTS theater is a production and performance venue for independent theater in Munich. It was founded at the end of 1985 and is now an integral part of the Pasinger Fabrik cultural center, in whose creation and establishment it played a decisive role.

We are characterized by a process-based, independent and collaborative way of working with great intellectual curiosity.

Our repertoire focuses on contemporary material, world premieres, the theater of the absurd, classics in our own translations and versions, as well as the dramatization of epic material. Often remote material that rarely finds its way onto German stages. Independent and unconventional: revues, collages, play developments. Contemporary, diverse, interdisciplinary and with ever new spatial designs.

Our productions have been invited several times to the IMPULSE Festival and the Bavarian Theater Days.
