"Denk ich an Osten" is an approach to a felt place in one's own writing. The Cologne poet Gundula Schiffer and the Cologne writer Joachim Geil give brief insights into their work. For years, the two have been in exchange with Felix Güßfeld, a young Cologne colleague. How does cloud magic get from Jerusalem to Cologne? How does Rhine wine get to the Orient? What is the horse meat of the Japanese spirit world doing in Sülz? Together, the three also explore the question of how realities become fictional possibilities in the first place.
