The floating art object VINETA

Leipzig's Neuseenland is the city's flagship tourist attraction. With a height of 15 m, the VINETA on Lake Störmthal is currently the highest floating structure on a German lake and is a reminder of the places that had to make way for open-cast lignite mining. The 'floating church' is a very special location for weddings, cultural events and exclusive functions. On land, the VINETA bistro offers food, drinks and ice cream in a large, wind-protected outdoor seating area. Leisure activities such as boat hire, stand-up paddling, flyboarding and the electric surfboard eFoil can be found on the beach.
