The former candle and wax factory is an artists' quarter in the south of Cologne between Rodenkirchen and Sürth. It consists of a total of 25 studios and lofts where creative people and artists live and work. Behind the My Dagis daycare center are the old factory halls with floor-to-ceiling workshop windows and meter-high interiors.

The new G'ART'EN in the Wachfabrik is run by sieben8 events - an agency for live marketing - and offers plenty of space for corporate events, small open-air concerts and events with an industrial backdrop in a casual beer garden atmosphere.

The Wachsfabrik art center consists of various artists from different genres and still represents the idea of artistic work in community, idyll, peace and freedom.

Hidden between the studios is the cozy café in the Wachsfabrik and the studios of the network for dance and performance - Barnes Crossing.
