The Wagenhallen are located in the north of Stuttgart, where railroad workers and their families used to live and which is now home to a mix of small businesses and multicultural flair. The City of Stuttgart has owned the property since 2003 and has leased the building for cultural purposes to the Kulturbetrieb Wagenhallen GmbH & Co. KG for cultural purposes. Step by step, the property was taken over amicably by creative and cultural professionals, who over the years have created a unique alternative oasis for the region. All available spaces are activated in a variety of ways and allow the greatest possible flexibility in terms of sustainable use and interior design. What began as an open-ended interim use is now a special location for corporate events, trade fairs and cultural events with event space for up to 2100 guests.
