Weserdeich

Stroll along Bremerhaven's Weser dyke - where the Weser is almost the North Sea - between the harbors and the Geeste and enjoy unique views.

At the northern end of the dyke promenade are the emigration memorial with the Pingelturm tower, the Kaiserschleuse lock and the new free-flow channel into the Weser, which is also Bremerhaven's new "promenade jetty" on the water. A little further south are the Simon Loschen Lighthouse with the New Lock, the old outer harbor and the Seebäderkaje. Our "Zoo am Meer" is also located there. The route continues south, past the ATLANTIC Hotel SAIL City and the German Maritime Museum with its museum ships to the Weser beach resort, the radar tower with viewing platform and the Geeste outer harbor.
