The Z-Bau - Haus für Gegenwartskultur is a large cultural center in Nuremberg's Südstadt district. From the outside, the Z-Bau is a massive brick building, from the inside it is a free space for culture and creative possibilities. The building houses four stages, numerous ateliers and studios, rehearsal rooms and seminar rooms. In the summer months, there is also a cozy beer garden and the creative space Nordgarten. The Z-Bau hosts concerts, parties and readings as well as theater festivals, corporate events, flea markets and panel discussions. The program is as diverse as the visitors.

The Z-Bau is open to all people who reject any form of discrimination. This open approach brings together people with different lifestyles, expectations, wishes, ideas and goals. Z-Bau is therefore also a living space and a place for socializing, discussion, networking and interdisciplinary understanding.
