The Förderverein Bibliothek Walle e.V. has been running the district library in the Kulturhaus for over two decades. The association was founded after the Walle district library was closed in 1998/99 in favor of the West District Library in Gröpelingen.

It has become a permanent institution, especially for families, children and older people as well as school classes from the surrounding area. In addition to current novels and crime novels, non-fiction books can be borrowed here and there is a well-stocked, extensive range of children's and youth literature. DVDs are also available. The children's reading corner is a great place to browse and in the afternoon the café invites you to enjoy coffee and cake.
