Since its foundation, the Kammerakademie Potsdam (KAP) has been characterized by electrifying musical experiences and unique programs - always committed to the unconditional will for the highest artistic quality. With great passion in its repertoire, the orchestra has earned its ever-growing local and international reputation, as evidenced by award-winning recordings, exclusive concert series and guest performances worldwide.

From the 2025.26 season, the renowned French oboist and conductor François Leleux will succeed Antonello Manacorda as Artistic Director of the Kammerakademie Potsdam, who will remain associated with the orchestra as Honorary Conductor.

Highlights of the 2024.25 season include our symphony concerts with international soloists such as Lukas Sternath (piano), Asya Fateyeva (saxophone), Baiba Skride (violin) and Isabelle Moretti (harp), orchestral concerts with Artist in Residence Christian Tetzlaff, the annual Potsdam Winter Opera and the large-scale district opera in Potsdam-Drewitz.
